President Obama's speech today had a rather interesting tilt to it. He said that every time the country tries to move forward those in charge resist. Here is the quote. The status quo pushes back. More often it’s manufactured by the powerful and the privileged who want to keep us divided and keep us angry and keep us cynical because it helps them maintain the status quo and keep their power and keep their privilege It is now Trump, the outsider, who is fighting against the status quo as he pushes to change the way Washington operates and the establishment is fighting back.
