Experts

Most of the talking heads and most of the mainstream media are saying that the elected officials are too afraid to make the tough decisions on taxes and spending so they are waiting for the election to decide which way the country will go. Do we continue down the path of tax and spend or do we turn the corner and move to reduce the size of government. I agree that this is the road we are on but I disagree with how the experts say the politicians will interpret the election results. The experts seem to think that the politicians will look at the election results and say that they were right or wrong depending on results. I strongly disagree with this. I believe those who lose the election will say that what they wanted is really what the voters wanted but they failed to present their case in an understandable manner. These people are so committed to their ideological perspective that they cannot admit that the voters think differently.
