ITIN

An ITIN (individual tax identification number) is issued to people who are not citizens who earn money. This allows them to file an income tax return. Even though social security is deducted they do not accumulate any benefits under social security. It merely gives them a way to file for income tax purposes. One solution to the current migrant problem is to first deport all migrants who are convicted felons. Second allow those remaining to have ITIN's. After five years of working and reporting income they become eligible for a green card. At this point they can get a green card which means a social card can be issued. At this point they become eligible for child tax credits but not earned income tax credits. After another five years they become eligible for citizenship but they must be able to read and speak English. They cannot vote until they are citizens. The laws regarding employment of illegals are just as confusing as most IRS rules. First off they say you cannot work in the USA if you are an illegal immigrant. Then they say you can if you get an Employment Authorization Document, (UAD).
