War reporting

A war on virus is quite different than a military war. To illustrate, assume that today's press acted that way in 1942. Reporters would be watching battles and reporting on the mistakes that the generals made and estimating how many soldiers died because of those mistakes. The reasons for this, after the fact reporting, would be to keep from making similar mistakes in future battles and wars. This is always done in the aftermath of wars but normally not while the war is going on.
