Pardon

All the news about Biden pardoning his son has once again brought up the phrase, no man is above the law. This is the reverse of what should be said and this is no law is above the man. It was man who created the law not the other way around. When a person finds themselves in a position where the law runs contrary to their personal beliefs they must ignore the law and follow their heart. In doing so the person must be prepared to pay the penalty even if it means death. When Patrick Henry rose up against the King he was breaking the law and said, give me liberty or give me death. The Nazis who murdered the Jews justified their actions by saying they were just following the law (orders). When Biden changes his mind and pardons his son he is doing what most fathers have in their hearts to do. The real problem is all the people who bragged about Biden putting the country ahead of family and now they are faced with having to reconsider.
