Cocaine

President Trump today commuted the life sentence of Alice Marie Johnson a women who had spent 20 years in prison for cocaine trafficking. I have no objection to that but I do object to the phase non-violent drug charge. She may not have been violent or directly hurt or injured anyone but she was part of a group that sold cocaine. Many of the murders in big cities like Chicago are the result of drug wars and there is a lot of violence associated with cocaine.
