Regulations

The founding fathers wisely set up a government with three separate but equal branches to keep any one group from becoming too powerful but over the past half century their plan has been thwarted by a new branch called the bureaucracy. The congress passes the laws, the executor signs and the courts approve and there is nothing in the constitution about the bureaucrats. These are the people who set up the regulations and it is the regs that most closely effect the everyday lives of the citizens. Obamacare was a 2,900 page bill passed by congress but the regulations have exceeded 20,000 pages. When income tax was approved in 1913 it was 400 pages and today it is over 77,000. During the Obama years 33,000 pages were added just to the EPA which is only one of 443 agencies.
