US exports

There are a number of reasons why the USA trade deficit with The EU is out of balance and one of those is import taxes which are much higher in the EU than in the USA. The result is that the EU exports $192 billion in cars and imports $75 billion resulting in a $117 billion dollar surplus whereas the US exports $115 billion and imports $250 billion resulting in a $135 billion dollar deficit.
