Iran money

Obama released $100 billion in Iranian frozen assets and then sent $1.7 billion in cash. Biden unfroze $6 billion of Iranian funds. These were intended to get Iran to agree to a deal to stop its push for a nuclear bomb. No one knows what this money was used for but last week The UN-backed atomic watchdog passed a resolution on Thursday declaring that Iran is not complying with its obligations regarding nuclear non-proliferation. While there is no evidence that Iran used these funds to send weapons to Hezbollah some feel this was a strong possibility. It could be that these funds were not used but money is fungible.
