Putin war

As the war in Ukraine drags on, Russia moves to a more powerful negotiating position. Right after the start of the war Putin was ready to accept a peace by guaranteeing that Ukraine would not be allowed to join NATO and keeping Crimea. As the war progressed Putin wanted the Donbas region along with the no NATO pledge. Today he wants both plus some say in how the new government will be organized. Meanwhile Ukraine is slowly being destroyed as their people flee the country while death and injury is inflicted on the soldiers.
