China policy

Foreign policy under the Biden administration is up in the air at this time especially with relations with China. They will likely take a strong stance against China's policies on human rights at least with words but there is not much in action that can be done. There will be pressure from big business, to remove the tariffs that Trump imposed on China and this will be some action that might be taken. Besides the big corps many officials, elected and not, have ties with China and this has been going on for many years. These officials profit from their relationships and do not want this jeopardized. There will be some pressure to bring home the production of medical supplies but basic manufacturing will likely stay in China as US jobs continue to move overseas.
