Covid stimulus

Last April congress passed the first Covid stimulus and each taxpayer who earned less than $75,000 received $1,200. This money should have been targeted to people who lost their jobs because of Covid and each person could have received three times as much. We now have the second Covid stimulus and it will go to many who never lost any income do to the Covid including government employees and retirees. If you take out the politics congress could have passed a second stimulus last summer with money going to those who lost their jobs. It could have been a stand alone bill but congress decided to fight over who would get the credit which is the standard M.O. for congress. Meanwhile people who needed these funds were left high and dry for the past 6 months and of course congress people have been getting their pay all along.
