Warp speed

Recent activities have offered a clear example of the difference between how business operates compared to government. While millions of people suffered waiting for relief from the pain of covid, congress dithered and as usual both parties blame the other side. Contrast that to the way Trump has marshaled the forces of private industry to develop the vaccine. As a businessman this was his first impulse. Would other politicians come up with Operation Warp Speed? Was WW2 the last time something like this happened?
