Scientific method

A current new headline is listen to the science. This has been the chant over climate change for years and it is the reason not much has been done to solve the problem of climate change. A scientist will look for all options when facing a challenge and to see only one solution while ignoring other possible solutions is to disregard the scientific method. This method finds its strength in looking for answers without prejudice. The leading scientists today have been co-opted by politics in conjunction with the press. Bush and Obama both said they would look at all options but that has not happened. There is little or no mention of using natural gas for transportation or building thorium power plants. The added advantage is that mining thorium produces rare earth metals as a by-product which can aid in the wind solar business. It is a win win about which most people have no knowledge.
