Left to right

For the past 30 years the media has been mostly left leaning but that began to change when Musk bought Twitter and moved it to the center right. Jeff Bezos bought the Washington Post and it began a slow shift to the middle. Billionaire Larry Ellison bought CBS and wants to bring Bari Weiss on board. She is thought to be in the center. Ellison is now considering buying CNN. Late night hosts Colbert and Kimmel have been suspended. Time and Newsweek, powerhouse liberal magazines of the past, are now just hanging on much like newspapers but social media is coming on strong. People like Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook and Tim Cook of Apple are leaning toward the center. Talk radio and most political podcasts lean right. As the media shifts from left to right, the complaints that free speech is threatened are becoming common place.
