Subway

Virtue signaling is a pejorative term used to describe liberals who suggest ways to provide benefits to the poor, often times people who are not working. They do this to show their compassion for those less fortunate. They are sometimes called bleeding hearts ore do gooders but for the most part they have good intentions. What is needed is to think things through and to anticipate what the results of their actions might be. Case in point is the New York City candidate for mayor Mandami. He is proposing to eliminate the charge for subways. This will encourage the homeless to spend their nights riding the rails, especially during the colder months. These are people who are afflicted with mental problems, drug problems and personal hygiene problems. In time this will cause fewer working people to take the subway and the tent camps on the street will be moved to the subway. The subways have already earned the reputation of being unsafe and this will further exacerbate the problem. On a grander scale are those who wanted to help the migrants crossing the southern border, which led to many of the problems in today’s society and most of these could have been anticipated.
