Fusion power

The ultimate solution to the climate change problem will be nuclear fusion. This is the process by which the stars make energy. Inside the star hydrogen is converted to energy. One pound of hydrogen provides the same amount of energy as 50,000 tons of coal. In fusion the hydrogen conversion releases heat which in turn can be used to drive turbines which produce electricity. This electricity is then used to change water into hydrogen and oxygen and the hydrogen then becomes the fuel needed for transportation. The only bi-product is water and this becomes the hydrogen cycle. Water is converted to hydrogen and oxygen and the hydrogen is used as fuel in an internal combustion engine and changed back into water. Power plants use heat from fusion to make electric power which in turn is used to change water into hydrogen to power internal combustion engines. This leads to an almost unlimited supply of inexpensive electric power which can then be used to desalt sea water and irrigate the deserts of the world.
