Impeachment and resentment

The second most powerful motivator after love is revenge and many democrats see impeachment as revenge for the 2016 election results. Revenge often has its roots in resentment and being resentful is like taking poison and expecting the other guy to get sick. The election has caused such a strong dislike toward Trump that many have lost their objectivity. The impeachment process has grown into a take that you rat feeling but it is not getting the expected result. It is very similar to what happened during the Clinton impeachment. It is a sort of cut off your nose to spite your face thing. There is the added incentive of expecting a Trump reelection that pushes the impeachment but unless something unexpected comes up this is likely to be what happens.
