Pay your own way

Students frequently have conversations about what it means to be grown up and the answer is simple. You are grown up when you start paying your own light bill. Young teens living on their own can be considered grown up. A unemployed thirty year old living with mom and dad is not grown up. The key word is employed. Andrew Yang the son of immigrant parents is a lawyer and businessman. After failing at several businesses he finally hit success with the idea of helping others start new business. He now has a charity that does that same thing. His role in politics has changed from concentrating on jobs to handing out $1,000 per month to every citizen over age 18. He joins the other candidates in that regard, that is, not emphasizing jobs. Being able to pay your own way is the dream of most.
