Electric power

As the US economy gets prepared to double in the next ten years, one of the greatest needs will be electric power and this is especially true for AI. Large social media companies are prepared to pay for their own power rather than rely on the government and private power companies. They understand that their demand will be so great that it could cut power to citizens who would not stand for it. The one area that the government can help is by reducing regulations. Many of the current regulation surround nuclear power were designed around safety and the new small reactors no longer present a safety hazard. Many regulations were also designed to work against nuclear and were led by environmentalist and the wind and solar industries along with the fossil fuel companies. These new small reactors will not only power the new industrial revolution but will in time produce inexpensive hydrogen for transportation and desalting plants to grow food in the desert areas.
