Nuclear
In the 1960s, the Atomic Energy Commission (AEC) anticipated that more than 1,000 nuclear reactors would be operating in the United States by 2000, reflecting a significant expansion of nuclear power plans. Today there are 94. These plants were stopped by well-meaning people, by the fossil fuel industry and later by the wind and solar industry. The same thing happened in Germany and today they are restarting their old coal plants. Trump is pushing companies to build their own electric generating plants as they build new facilities. Some of these will be nuclear.
