Afghan airlift

As the Afghan was came to an end, President Biden said on a number of occasions "No nation has ever done anything like it in all of history; only the United States had the capacity and the will and ability to do it," he said. This statement was not challenged by any news media but many recall Dunkirk, where over an 8 day period, 350,000 British and French troops were evacuated and taken to safety in England. In 1948 the US air lifted food and supplies to Berlin. This went on almost a full year with 300,000 flights bringing supplies to 2.2 million people and saved them from starvation.
