Panama foreign minister Erika Mouyness expressed frustration to Axios that the Biden administration seemed caught off guard by the Haitian migrant crisis because "we sounded the alarm when we should have". Now there are 60,000 more migrants heading to the border and there is no plan to intervene. This adds more fuel to the idea that the US government wants immigrants to come across the border. This has been a conspiracy theory by many for some time but this lack of action makes it seem more plausible.
