Most Americans heat their homes with natural gas and the price has doubled since June so what ever you paid last year you will pay twice that this year. The price of gasoline has increased by 50% since January so you will pay 50% more this year than last. Oil prices have go up 40% since January meaning the cost of most consumer items will increase accordingly since transportation cost is included in the price. One example is the cost of a shipping container from China has increased by 400%. This should be more reason to produce goods here in the US.
