Cut drilling

President Biden stopped all drilling for oil and gas on federal lands but recently the courts have negated his order. This expectation is based on numerous remarks the president has made on the issue. For instance, during a 2020 primary debate, Biden said "no more drilling on federal lands. No more drilling, including offshore. Biden's interior secretary, environmentalist and progressive Deb Haaland said, “I am wholeheartedly against fracking and drilling on public lands. Biden recently asked OPEC and Russia to increase production. He must know that burning oil and gas will produce CO2 regardless of where the oil comes from. Some say he cut back on production to raise the price of gasoline to promote the sale of electric cars but that makes no sense since he later asked for more production to lower the price of gasoline. It is difficult to understand what is going on.
