Nuclear power

Here is a ray of hope that came out of the White House yesterday regarding climate change. One piece considered critical to Biden's climate goals, a mechanism to replace coal- and gas-fired power plants with wind, solar and nuclear energy. Please note the word nuclear. Now things are starting to make sense. Use wind and solar on fixed buildings and thorium nuke plants to produce electricity for the power grid. Use this inexpensive carbon free electric power to produce hydrogen for transportation. After searching the Internet there is no mention of the use of this word nuclear. Hopefully this was not a mistake.
