Censorship

Eisenhower warned of the military industrial complex but today another threat is looming on the horizon and it is the partnership that has developed between the main stream press and the democratic party. This group is now challenging the first amendment right to free speech. What you say can be silenced by calling it hate speech or disinformation. You can be shamed for what you say by cancel culture. Add to this the tendency to silence views considered not part of the narrative and this all leads to a form of censorship. News stories are changed by selectively using data or by leaving out critical information. The interesting thing is that about half the population seem to be OK with this.
