Huawei

Part of China's grand plan to take over the world involves Huawei a communication company poised to install 5G in every country. The daughter of the Huawei founder, Meng Wanzhou and several of its subsidiaries remain under indictment in a much broader case involving racketeering, intellectual property theft and alleged sanctions-busting work with North Korea, as well. This week Biden changed that. Last week, the Department of Justice announced it had reached a deferred prosecution agreement with the chief financial officer of Huawei and daughter of its founder, Meng Wanzhou, ending the case against her. The sellout concerns Huawei the quintessential representative of China's grand strategy to become the predominant global hegemon. Biden has been accused by many of owing China and many are watching how he deals with China. Not pressing them on human rights, the Covid virus and going soft on Huawei are signals that these accusers may have a point although he is keeping the import tax on many items from China.
