Iran

When Trump came into office Iran was producing over 4 million barrels of oil per day. Trump said to forget about any nuclear treaty and imposed sanctions on Iran. Oil production dropped to under 3 million barrels per day MAY 2018 The United States under Donald Trump's presidency unilaterally withdraws from the 2015 deal and re-imposes sanctions, aiming to cut Iran's oil sales to zero. When Biden came in he removed the sanctions in order to try and start negotiations on the nuclear treaty. Iran’s oil production capacity has returned to the same level as prior to the reimposition of sanctions in 2018, when the US unilaterally withdrew from a nuclear deal, a top official said.
