Change

For too many democrats there is a knee jerk reaction to be opposed to anything that Trump suggest and it is getting them in trouble. Trump is on the 80 side of most 80/20 issues and this puts the dems on the 20 side. The one theme that is more powerful that make America great again is common sense. How can you be against common sense? They need to pick their battles to be more effective. When emotions rule it is difficult to analyze and decisions are made without fore thought. The defenders of the bureaucracy want to maintain the old ways of doing things but the citizens voted for change. Most of the democrats agree that the voters want change but not the kind of change that Trump proposes. They want to tinker around the edges, set up committees and propose long term improvements which in the end amount to very little change. The introduction to the outside influence of DOGE is throwing a monkey wrench into the gears of government and the dems don’t want that, because this is an unknown force which may actually result is significant change.
