Trump

The press is unable to keep up with Trump because they are used to presidents who tackle problems one by one. Trump is looking to change the world and that means pulling problems from various parts of the globe and working on them simultaneously. He wants to reduce imports especially from China, while solving the disputes in the middle east while ending the war in Ukraine. He makes an announcement and the press goes that way and then another announcement the press goes another way. He sets up negotiations about Ukraine in Riyadh and leaves out Zelenskyy. He tells Europe they must defend themselves. He talks about rebuilding both Ukraine and Gaza. He puts equivalent tariffs on all countries and then throws in making Canada a state and buying Greenland. The press just runs from one shining object to another never thinking of how all things fit together. Trump wants to reshape the world. He wants to bring a lasting peace to the Middle East using the Abraham Accords with Saudi Arabia forming a partnership with Israel, he wants to neutralize Iran, end the war in Ukraine, push Europe to standing up for themselves, bring jobs home hopefully before China collapses, reduce US deployments around the world, and bring Russia into an economic partnership with the West. While all of this is going on the press is fretting over DOGE which distracts them from the rest of the world. Trump will not bring down prices or lower inflation but he might well accomplish enough to blow through the next election. If successful he will set his sights on nuclear disarmament and nuclear power.
