One of the most misunderstood things about Trump is that he is not a republican or democrat in the modern-day way of thinking. He is a pragmatist who has certain beliefs that he tries to follow. That is why he can take questions from any group and can change plans without fear of being ridiculed. His most fundamental principle is belief that America is the greatest country ever and his policies are directed toward making America even greater. He will evaluate social programs which will upset democrats and the defense spending which will upset the republicans. He is in the middle on abortion which upsets both sides. He wants to end the Ukraine War which will upset those who profit from war. He will secure the border which will upset both sides since one side is looking for voters and the other side looking for cheap labor. He wants free trade and will use tariffs to force other countries into fair trade. This upsets big business since but helps the working people. He is using RFK to go after Big Pharma and Big Food to make America healthy again. He is promoting nuclear power which will upset the greenies and big oil. He demands the Europe accept more responsibility for their national defense which upset them. He will no longer pay for the bulk of global organizations like the UN, WHO and WTO and this upsets the Davos crowd. The transition away from globalization may be the most profound change of the 21st Century.
