Social seurity

It has been suggested, that instead of eliminating the tax on social security benefits, that the $25,000 exclusion which was established in 1984, be indexed to $75,000 based on the cost of living. This would mean that all most all those receiving SS would not be taxed but the upper income people would still pay tax on 85% of their SS benefit.
